And the likeness of those who spend their substance seeking to please Allah and to strengthen their souls is as a garden high and fertile heavy rain falls on it but makes it yield a double increase of harvest and if it receives not Heavy rain light moisture sufficeth it Allah seeth well whatever ye do

ومثل الذين ينفقون أموالهم ابتغاء مرضات الله وتثبيتا من أنفسهم كمثل جنة بربوة أصابها وابل فآتت أكلها ضعفين فإن لم يصبها وابل فطل والله بما تعملون بصير

Narrated Aisha When Abu Bakr AsSiddiq was chosen Caliph he said My people know that my profession was not incapable of providing substance to my family And as I will be busy serving the Muslim nation my family will eat from the National Treasury of Muslims and I will practice the profession of serving the Muslims

حدثنا إسماعيل بن عبد الله قال حدثني ابن وهب عن يونس عن ابن شهاب قال حدثني عروة بن الزبير أن عائشة رضى الله عنها قالت لما استخلف أبو بكر الصديق قال لقد علم قومي أن حرفتي لم تكن تعجز عن مئونة أهلي وشغلت بأمر المسلمين فسيأكل آل أبي بكر من هذا المال ويحترف للمسلمين فيه
