Responsibilities:

  • Read through original materials to translate documents into specified language(s) precisely and accurately, maintaining message content and context.
  • Check translations of technical terms and related sources to be sure that the translated documents are accurate and consistent throughout translation.
  • Refer to reference materials such as dictionaries, lexicons, encyclopedias, and other
    online & offline reference materials as needed to be sure that translation process is
    accurate.
  • Run quality assurance spot checks.
  • Review/proofread translations done by other junior in-house and freelance
    translators.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts related to the meanings of words and concepts.
  • Read copy and transcripts and check to make sure there are no spelling,
    grammatical or typographical errors.
  • Support our clients by providing expert advice and respond to their questions that
    are related to translation projects.
  • Create and work on establishing a terminology database to be used in translation
    projects.
  • Perform other tasks as required by management to facilitate running business in the department including, but not limited to, transcription, transcreation, transliteration.
  • Ensure that delivered service matches the company’s quality standards.
  • Attend to client’s feedbacks – if any- in the best professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing Sales through outbound phone calls and emails.
  • Identify large opportunities and develop the actions necessary to win business.
  • Work with Sales Management, to implement sales strategies, identify opportunities, close sales, motivate the team and spur growth.
  • Educate prospects on our solutions and communicate the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of working with Torjoman.
  • Prepare quotes for customers and follow up to convert quotes into projects.
    Evaluate and process RFPs as necessary.
  • Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of internal protocol and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate project specifications to Project Account Managers
    Provide customer support; manage client expectations in conjunction with the Project Managers.
  • Maintain records of telephonic interactions, orders, and accounts in ERP system.

Position Summary:

The position of the Project manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the completion of all translation projects.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manages localization projects from beginning to end, working closely with language specialists, localization engineers, product management and development, internal business partners and external vendors and other departments.
  • Develops project plans and work-flows, managing time, budget, resources and quality control.
  • Assigns, monitors and measures project team members’ work.
  • Manages team’s compliance with standards, practices and policies.
  • Directs team’s deliveries to time-lines and product quality, including responsiveness and professionalism towards both internal and external clients.
  • Leads project/client/business partner meetings and conference calls, including project kick-off meetings, weekly and ad-hoc.
  • Continually expands knowledge and education in localization trends and news.
  • Preparation and maintenance of project documentation.
